Rumex acetosella

  1. Annual or perennial creeping plant; arrow-shaped basal leaves; stems to 30 cm long with long smooth leaves; tiny light orange to red flowers are in panicles on the stem end; produces large seedbank.
  2. Hand pulling; repeated patch tillage; herbicide control early in the growing season.
