Elymus repens

1. Fast spreading rhizomatous creeping perennial grass; leaf auricles clasp the stem; leaves can be rough and slightly hairy; leaves sparse up the stem as plants mature; seedheads similar to native wheatgrasses
2. Difficult to control without renovating the stand with glyphosate based herbicides.
