Arctium minus

  1. Tap rooted biennial; large heart-shaped basal leaves; large alternate leaves; large burs impact livestock production; seeds are short lived.
  2. Herbicide control or hand pulling in rosette stage (first years growth) before bolting and flowering; mow or sheer the tap root at bolting.
